    Great Judy thank you xxx

  2. Judy I smiled or laughed throughout all of them. My two favourites were “Older on the outside” & “Happiness is”. Fantastic !!

    1. Ha! Yes ‘Older on the Outside’ was one of my favourites to write πŸ™‚

  3. Judy you’ve made me laugh. Thankyou & brilliant ??☺

    1. Hi Damien. Thank you for coming to my blog. I’m really glad that you had a laugh πŸ™‚

  4. I wondered what “video poems” link was all about when I saw the link to them on your banner. These are such a lot of fun. I love the quirky humor.

    1. Thanks so much Bun. I did them last year for a bit of fun! πŸ™‚

      1. It was a good idea. πŸ™‚

  6. Very cool stuff! I tried reading some of my poems on my youtube channel and I found it challenging. It is fun to branch out though!

    1. Thanks for looking Jason. I tried to memorise them but it took me ages and then I still stumbled when I forgot the words! Yes, it is fun to branch out πŸ™‚

      1. I tried that as well and found out my memory… is god awful! lol πŸ˜‰

        1. Yours and mine both! πŸ™‚

  7. nice to poetry in VDO!! liked it, keep it up and all the best!!

  8. I see that you have videos posted as well. πŸ˜€ Nicely done!

    1. Thanks. I thought they would be something a little different.

      1. They are! If poetry is like writing music, then there’s a cadence that only the author can delivery. It’s great to read poetry, but to hear it is even nicer.

        1. That’s nice of you to say, Thanks πŸ™‚

  9. Love this!! I’m glad you just shared this on your Facebook page! I wouldn’t have necessarily seen it otherwise!

    1. Oh I am just putting some of my old stuff out again randomly! Glad you liked it πŸ™‚

      1. Was good to hear it read as it is meant to be said!!!

        1. Except for the fact that I stumble a bit, but I left it in as that is me anyway! πŸ™‚

          1. It added to the human ness… If you know what I mean lol!!

  10. I just love these. You read them so well. I know you’re about to burst into giggles. How do you get your husband to do the housework?

    1. I am lucky with him that he will do some of it. He gets his rewards!!! πŸ™‚

  11. Very good and interesting in the same time.
I prefer to listen than reading poems, I could not read how are you reading πŸ˜€
    Nice πŸ™‚
    I have a suggestion!
You could give some light on your face doing the videos. I think it will be better πŸ˜€
    It is just my opinion.
I wish you all the good! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank so much for your suggestions . I will see if I can do it next time.

  12. Bravo! For your courage, your contagion, and the connection with us … Loved your audio poems!!

    1. Thank you so much Phyllis πŸ™‚

  13. These are awesome! The way you seem almost ready to burst into laughter yourself, though, made it all the better!

    1. Thanks, It’s because I kept forgetting the words – even though I wrote them! πŸ™‚

  14. Oh my goodness!! THIS IS GREAT!!! I am kinda sorta patting myself on the back since I left you a comment to do this, but I know that probably had nothing to do with it. You have the most adorable voice! And everyone is correct….it definitely heightens and enriches the experience of your words. Bravo!!!!!

    1. Well actually, although I had considered reading my poems aloud already, when you mentioned it in the comments, it spurred me on to DO it! So Thank you and I will give you a huge pat on the back. πŸ™‚ I am glad you like my voice, I just wanted to bring my poems to life! Thanks so much for your support Steph. I really so appreciate it.

  15. What a great addition to your blog! Hearing the poem recited in your voice enriches the experience. Lovely!

    1. Thank you so much… I just wanted to see how they got received as I wasn’t sure…best I put some more up now! πŸ™‚

        1. Thank you. I have already added a few more for now πŸ™‚

          1. Great! I’ll take a look today. πŸ™‚

  16. I LOVE this! Your poems are even better read aloud with your accent! Plus I love how you are on the verge of cracking up and laughing. You are braver than I would be- well done!

    1. Thanks so much Karen! The reason I was trying not to laugh was because that was about the 20th attempt, and I STILL mispronounced squeaking and creaking, but i thought, Sod it, it can stay in! I did just try to do an audio one as I mentioned before but it didn’t work and this was actually relatively easy ! I’m not brave, just thought I would go for it! πŸ™‚

      1. I still havenΒ΄t listened to all of them… But so far my favourite is Happiness is… truly beautiful… Plus, I love your accent… All my best wishes. Aquileana πŸ™‚

        1. Hi Aquileana and welcome. Thank you so much for dropping by. I am pleased that you enjoyed my poems πŸ™‚

Thank you for popping in, I'd love to know what you think
